Receiving and Stocking Associate

Job Summary:

Individuals in the role of Receiving and Stocking Associates at Hobby Lobby handle stock and merchandise duties outside usual operating hours. This position is ideal for those who prefer working in less customer-facing capacities and during quieter periods of the day.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the efficient and accurate reception, unloading, and categorization of products received in shipments.
• Maintain shelf organization by restocking items in alignment with the store's layout and safety guidelines.
• Oversee inventory management practices and sustain elevated quality thresholds for audits.
• Arrange and tidy aisles, end caps, and displays to uphold a visually appealing store layout.
• Help in implementing changes to the store layout, which includes relocating shelves and setting up new display units.
• Report to management immediately about any discrepancies, damages, or issues observed with the merchandise.

Qualifications:

• Previous familiarity with stocking responsibilities is valued, but not obligatory.
• Displaying remarkable physical resilience to lift weighty loads and remain standing throughout a demanding shift.
• Capability to work independently with minimal guidance.
• Diligence in observing nuances and adeptness in resolving issues.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Completion of high school or a similar credential is necessary.
